This site
No cookies, no tracking, and no requests to third parties. Here is what that means, and how you can check it.
What it does not do
It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and shows no embedded videos, maps, or social buttons. Fonts, images, and scripts all come from aiffect.eu, so your browser talks to no one but us.
How you can check
The line at the foot of each page is measured in your browser when the page loads: it adds up the files the page loaded, counts how many came from other sites, and counts the cookies set. You can confirm it yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, choose the Network tab, and reload the page. Every request goes to aiffect.eu.
The one thing your browser remembers
The site follows your device’s light or dark setting. If you use the switch at the top, your browser remembers your choice, light or night, so the next page keeps it. It stays on your device; we never see it.
The fit check form
The form sends your request straight to our inbox. Nothing is kept on the website’s server. Spam is kept out by a hidden field and a time check, not by a third-party captcha. Details are in the privacy notice.
How it is made
Plain HTML, CSS, and a little JavaScript, with no framework and no external services. The site works without JavaScript: the script only adds the switch, the tabs, and the measurement at the foot of the page. Every page also prints cleanly on A4. It is hosted in Germany by All-Inkl. We designed and built it ourselves, with AI assistance, in the way we describe in our questions and answers.
Type
Source Serif 4, designed by Frank Grießhammer for Adobe, served from this site under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Accessibility
We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA: a clear structure, full keyboard access, visible focus, sufficient contrast in both editions, and motion only when your device allows it. If something does not work for you, tell us at hello@aiffect.eu.
